"Language for Secondary School" is an application that contains the Language Learning Guides corresponding to Basic Secondary and Middle School, in Colombia.The Learning Guides are supported by the contents of the Colombia Aprende page, which, in turn, are based on the Quality Benchmarks proposed by the Ministry of National Education (MEN): Curricular Guidelines, Basic Competency Standards (EBC) , Basic Learning Rights (DBA) and Reference Matrices.The Learning Guides contain the following elements, as stated in the CAPSULES OF KNOWLEDGE of Colombia Aprende, as follows:1.
The Basic Right to Learning (DBA) that is being developed.
For each grade there are between 11 and 15 DBA and it includes a Didactic Sequence.2.
A Learning Object (LO): It is equivalent to a topic and a part of the Didactic Sequence.
A DBA can have between 1 and 11 OAs.3.
Introduction: A multimedia resource, which can be a video, with which the OA that brings the student closer to the topic at hand is started.4.
Objectives: It is what the student is expected to demonstrate upon completion of an OA.5.
Student material: It is a document in PDF format that contains the concepts and activities that the student must develop to achieve the proposed objectives.
The activities proposed in the document are the same as those proposed in interactive multimedia resources.6.
Activities: They are interactive multimedia resources that are formulated for the student to practice and strengthen their knowledge.
Each LO has between 1 and 12 activities.7.
Summary: It is an interactive activity in which the student makes a synthesis of the topic seen in each LO.8.
Homework: It is an activity that the student must carry out, either at home or within the same class and with which the OA is concluded.
